Arbeidsinkludering av kvinnelege innvandrarar med hjelp av empowerment-perspektivet. Korleis kan empowerment-perspektivet nyttast i arbeidet med å få fleire kvinnelege innvandrarar inn i arbeidslivet?

Abstract

Bacheloroppgåva undersøkjer korleis ein kan nytte empowerment-perspektivet i arbeidet med å få fleire kvinnelege innvandrarar inn i arbeidslivet. Oppgåva er eit bidrag ikkje berre for jobbkonsulentar, men for alle som arbeider med kvinnelege innvandrarar og innvandrarar generelt, med mål om arbeidsdeltaking. Eg har sett på korleis empowerment som integrering, klientifisering og interaksjonsmodellen kan vere med på å belyse eit viktig samfunnsoppdrag med å få fleire kvinnelege innvandrarar inn i det norske arbeidslivet. I prosjektet har det blitt nytta kvalitativ forskingsmetode, der det har blitt gjennomført dybdeintervju med tre jobbkonsulentar frå same bedrift. Desse har både erfaring og kunnskap om samhandling med kvinnelege innvandrarar og dei utfordringane som kan oppstå i møte med arbeidsmarknaden. Resultata viser at språk er ein viktig faktor i møte med kvinnelege innvandrarar. For å motverke kommunikasjonssvikt og missforståingar står interaksjonsmodellen sentralt for å kunne danne gode føresetnadar for godt samarbeid med den kvinnelege innvandraren. Vidare er det med hjelp av myndiggjerande prosessar viktig å tileigne deltakaren auka makt og innflytelse over eige liv. For mykje press frå systemet og hjelparen si side kan føre til umyndiggjerande situasjonar eller klientifisering. Stabilitet og tryggheit er derfor viktig for å skape gode relasjonar i møte med deltakaren. Gjennom arbeidsdeltaking kan ein som kvinneleg innvandrar bli betre integrert i det norske samfunnet. For å kunne inkludere fleire i arbeidslivet må empowerment-perspektivet nyttast som ein samarbeidsprosess med både den kvinnelege innvandraren, arbeidsmarknaden og samfunnet rundt.

Abstract This bachelor thesis will explore how to use the empowerment-perspective to get more female immigrants in to stable employment. The thesis is not only for work consultants, but for anyone that works with female immigrants and with immigrants in general, with the goal of achieving employment. I have explored how empowerment as intigration, clientification and how the interaction model could be used to shine light at an important social mission of getting more female immigrants employed in Norway. In this project the qualitative methodology with in dept interviews have been conducted with three work consultants from the same firm. The consultants have experiance and knowledge interacting with female immigrants and the issues that might arrive when dealing with the labor market. The results show that language is an important factor in encounters with female immigrants. To counteract communication failures and misunderstandings, the interaction model is central to being able to form good preconditions for good cooperation with the female immigrant. Furthermore, with the help of empowering processes, it is important to acquire increased power and influence over the clients life. Too much pressure from the system and the helper's side can lead to incapacitating situations or clientification. Stability and security are therefore important for creating good relationships in meetings with the participant. Through work participation, one as a female immigrant can become better integrated into Norwegian society. In order to include more people in working life, the empowerment perspective must be used as a collaborative process with both the female immigrant, the labor market and the surrounding society.
